Sources used

I used 2 main sources for this blog. Wikipedia was used to search for the list of novels that were based on video games in which I selected my 20 items.

I used www.goodreads.com to search for reviews of the books.

I used www.amazon.com for searching for the novel details.

Search strategies

I obtained my answers from Wikipedia and www.goodreads.com. With Wikipedia, I would type in author's name to get information about him/her. How I got the reviews for the books was that I typed the name of the author and book into the Google search bar and then selected the results which had the goodreads.com link. The way I got the citations was I typed in the author and name of the novel into the Google search bar then I chose the result which leads to the Amazon.com website

Describe usefulness of this annotated bibliography to the target audience and how it will promote this aspect of literature to chosen audience

This annotated bibliography will be of great usefulness to the targeted audience being 12 to 25 year olds.  The aspect of literature that I have chosen will be of great appeal to the audience. The 20 items that I have chosen are games that gamers in the age group of my targeted audience play and enjoy. Even if persons within that age group have never played the game or read the novel before, by reading this annotated bibliography, they will have knowledge and understanding of what the game and book is about.

Initially I was thinking of including 'video games based on books'. However, I could not find any that I have heard or even played before so I decided not to include that section.

There was one game on the list that I was planning to include initially. The game was Perfect Dark. The reason I decided to remove that game from my list is because I did not have a proper understanding of that game as much as the others on the list.
